Guest reviews from 2009

Please note that Izer Beach and Hotel completed major renovations in the winter from 2008 to 2009 (the hotel rooms were completely renovated to 5* quality, the kitchen, bars and restaurants, as well as kitchen staff were completely renewed and many other amenities were added to increase the quality of the resort. Renovations will also continue this winter 2009 – 2010. For this reason we have chosen only the client reviews starting with the new opening of Izer Hotel and Beach Club in May 2009.

Lovely, relaxing holiday

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first trip to Turkey, and we had a great time.
We stayed for one week 8th October – 15th October 2009 which was the end of Season. The Hotel closed the Monday after we left, and because of this, the hotel was quite quiet. This wasn’t s problem for us and made the holiday a lot more relaxing overall. But, things like Ice Cream for children had been stopped, the roof bar had been closed, and I think the kids club had been closed, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

We were in the main part of the hotel, in the quieter area near Reception. The rooms were very nice, very clean, verymodern. The bathroom does only have a shower, I do prefer a bath, but the shower was huge and in great condition. We had booked a Superior Room as that was the only available at the time of booking. The standard rooms are around the Second Pool with the Water Slides and near the amphitheater. The difference seemed to be the modern décor and the size of the shower and the TV. (Superior rooms have a flat screen LCD). We were very happy with out room.

The food was lovely,I am quite a fussy eater. But everything I tried was delicious. We were only there for a week, so it was quite varied. Though you may struggle from time to time if you are vegetarian.
I was also a bit worried about the alcoholic drinks available, as you can get Wine, Beer, Vodka, Raki, Gin and a few others. However, the bar staff make really lovely cocktails,I had these all week and loved them.

The beach is smaller than I had thought it would be. But very nice and very clean. However, like I have already mentioned, we went at the end of the season, I think it could be quite busy July/August.

The hotel staff wereall very friendly and very helpful. The holiday was brilliant. We had a great time, the weather was lovely and we met some great people. We also went to Ephesuswhich was spectacular. Be warned that this is a 3 hour journey, there and back, but totally worth it!

Go to this hotel, you won’t be disappointed! Have fun.

Very good - probably better in high season

Just returned from a week at Izer beach.Stayed 12th -19th Oct.The hotel actually closed on last day we werethere.Lotsof plus points:
Superior rooms very spacious and modern. There was enough room for the three of us and my 2 yr old was more than comfy on the pull out chair bed. Shower very big and rooms cleaned every day, although felt the maid just mopped and did not sweep as there was always loads of sand on the floor.
Staff work very hard and were really good with my little boy ,called him by his name and played with him which was nice.
Setting is lovely and peaceful, very quiet in Torbaas most places seem to have closed.
Pools lovely - bit cold again due to time of year, sea warm though.
Food- always a great salad bar and plentiful choice of hot meals, occasionally repetitive. The quality was very good, although some of cakes looked better than tasted.

All in all very nice holiday but would probably return at a busier time when everything is available, egentertainment and all the little extras like popcorn, pancakes and ice cream all day for the kids.
Would recommend though.

Relaxing family holiday

Found this to be a really relaxing holiday with enough to do for any age group. The service was always welcoming and they couldn't do enough. I myself was in a plaster cast and still found all the amenities to be easilyaccessible, the staff were always there to give me a helping hand even when iwas unsteady after the brandy's. The food was lovely plenty of choice for all ages, snacks availibleat the pool bar (chicken and chips, burgers etc). We ate at the italiana la cart which was good, one reviewer has said it wasn't italian!! If they want real italiango to italy!!!! We had soup, pizza and pasta and couldn't fault it! Edi from the entertainment team was great always had a smile and made sure you were looked after and never pressured you into things you didn't want too do. All in all it was a great place to go will definitely be returning next year.
Go to this hotel, you won’t be disappointed! Have fun.

A good holiday, but mixed feelings

This was my first trip to Turkey. I stayed at the club Izer beach in September for 1 week with my boyfriend. (We are both in our earlier twenties.)

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It really depends what you are looking for in a holiday, but we had a nice time none the less.

The hotel itself is generally... nice, and pretty. Lots of greenery and pink flowers. There are 2 pools. The "family pool" had music playing all day and lots of activities so we stayed around the quieter pool which was closer to the beach.
The holiday was very relaxing,we spent most of our time on the beach. I did like the fact that the hotel is literally right on the beach. You step out of the pool, walk down a few steps and you are on the beach. We had a nice, quiet time. Although I did think it was quite busy even for September. And we had chosen this month so that there would not be many children around. I think if you went in July or August it would be jam- packed there and very noisy.

Our room was called "superior" and it was clean and comfortable which is the main thing. Although our air conditioning did leak 2 or 3 times, and sometimes we heard thumping music from the pool bar at night.

There was always a lot of choice in the restaurant. Most days the food was very good, and some days, not exactly my cup of tea... but you'll be fine as long as yournot TOO fussy!
The staff werehelpful and pleasant and the weather was hot and sunny which to me in the most important thing.

I would definitely recommend this holiday probably to families, older couples or other couples looking really for a peaceful time. Like I said, it really depends what your expectations are.

WONDERFUL

afterwaiting 8 months from our booking, we were delighted with our large family poolside room. staffare helpful, friendly and welcoming,. wehave a 12yr old boy and a 5 yr old girl and the age gap can make a difference in what is wanted on a holiday, but they both found it to be great fun. The animation team are good and get the kids involved..The food was outstanding and everyone is catered for. We really feel like we have had abattteryrecharge as it was so relaxing and laid back. There is nothing to fault. The bus to Bodrum runs every half hour, and is very cheap. goto director tours by the bus station and his trips are very cheap. We had a full day boat trip with lunch included,for4 adults and 2 kids for £45. Do the chinesein bodrum, fabulous, they pick u up from the hotel and take you home free of charge. Also the golden plate restaurant in Bodrum is excellent.willreturn next year without a doubt.Thankyou Izer beach

Loving it - was not ready to come home

I had never been to Turkeyand was a little unsure what it would be like, however by the end of the first day IreaslisedI had no need for concern.

We only got the chance to see a small part of this area of Turkeyas we only stayed for 7 nights,however what we did get to see was beautiful. Itsstunning, very senic.

The Hotel
The hotel is split into two halfs, the family side (The club side) and the hotel side. We stayed on the hotel side which is much more quiet. The hotel overall was exteamlyclean, all the public toilets were spotless. The grounds are very attractive and the gardens are maintained very well. On site the hotel also has a small shop which is expensive, use the shop just outside the secritygate as it is cheaper. They also have a hair salon and aturkishhamma(Turkish Bath) - 2 hours of pampering for 30TL (Aprox£20)

The Room
We had a newly renovated room. Everything was new and very modern. We had a fridge it the room which had four complimentrycans of pop and two bottles of water (The water was replaced daily free of charge). The room also had a flat screen TV in it, however all channels were turkish(But you dontgo away to watch TV, do you) we also had a very good hair dryer and the shower was of good quality. The balcony was a good size with a table and three chairs. The room was very clean.

The Food and Drink
The hotel is all inclusive.
The food was turkishso if you are one of thoespeople that wants a full englishbreakfast daily you will not get it here. However we did try everything and liked the majority of it.
Breakfast was simple. They had cooking stations outside and each day they were either cookingfryedeggs, pancakes or omelettes. The freshly made bread was very yummy and I think I ate about 10 loafs in the week!! They also had cereal'sand fruit. You could also have olives, tomatoes, cucumber, meats and cheses.
Lunch - You could either go to the buffet or the snack bar. The snack bar served chips, grilled chicked, hot dogs, meat balls, pizza, burgers etc, However every time we visited the trays were empty and they were not to quick to fill them up again so were preferedthe buffet. The buffet for lunch served a variety of hot meals and salads. The salads were very fresh and loads to chosefrom. They also served fruit and puddings at lunch which in my opinion the puddings looked better than they tasted, however I did take a likeingto these puff pastry things. Dinner was very much the same as lunch, salads, bread, soup and mains. The mains varied each day (Grilled chicken, fish, turkey, lamb, veg, some sort of potato - chips, mash etc). You could also get popcorn in the afternoon from the pool bar and ice cream from the snack bar (4-5). The all inclusive bar includes alcholicdrinks, beer and wine, soft drinks, fruit drinks and team and coffee's.

The Pools
The pools were all clean. We preferedthe quiet pool on the hotel side but if your into joining in on the games (Water polo etc) then you may prefer the other pool which also has two slides. They also have a fair sizedchildrenspool with a little slide.

The Beach
I was a little unsure about the beach before we arrived as upon booking it was discribedas a 'shingle' beach. However it was lovely. A few stones in the shore line but once you get past them, itslovely and clear and warm. The beach also has a jetty with sun beds and parasols. Also you can swim out to a floating sun deck in the sea. Not great for sand castles if you have young children.

The sun beads and paralosare free of charge on both the beach and round the pool. We did not have to get up early to reserve your sun bed, however it was end of season.

The Water Sports
First off the people who work at the water sports hut are very friendly and willing to cut you a deal. Some people felt the sports were over priced however compared to places we have been before they were very reasonable. We went on the Jet Ski's 3 times and they were wonderful, I got a real taste for the speed. We also went parasailing which was an experience. The peadleboats and canoes were free of charge. You could also book up boat trips, diving, banana boat rides, ring rides, flying fish rides.

The Staff and Turkish people in general
The hotel staff werevery helpful and fun, majority spoke very good english. We found the turkishpeople to be very friendly and trusting.

lafamille

Fantastic scenery, excellent service and value for money

This was our first trip to Turkeyand we were unsure of what to expect. However we were pleasantly surprised and will return again.
The hotel is well situated, on the beach and also very close by Dolmusto Bodrum centre.
The rooms were clean but basic, however the management did explain that the hotel rooms were to be refurbished over the winter 09.
The pool areas were clean and bars serving refreshments and snacks at both.
The food selection in the main restaurant was very good for an all inclusive hotel. Different choices available every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
However the staff werethe stars of the hotel. They were professional, attentive and very hard working .We would like to say a big thank you to all the guys at the massage centre, also all the entertainment team especiallyPacha, Ed and Volley ball girl !!!!.Also to our favouritebar staff Murat and Sulymanat the pool bar who looked after us especially well.
All in all a fabulous place to stay for relaxing break.

Izer beach: bon rapport qualité-prix

iwent here with my 23yr old son. It was his first time abroad and he was not disappointed. We both had a fantastic time here. staffcannot do enough for you. everyoneseems to be so happy, they smile all the time considering the long hours they all work. Erdalat the snack bar and the young girl(cant remember her name) were lovely. allstaff are great with kids and adults alike. Italian a la carte is to die for! allaccomodationis spotless, as are pool and eating areas. The beach is small and quite stoneybut nice. Only drawback was the obnoxiousfrenchand romanianguests but they didntspoil our holiday. dolmusto bodrumwas great, every 15 minsor so. Tuesday market for fake designer goods is a must, an experience. webooked the dalyantrip thru sue the rep, (she is a diamond, so helpful and honest) wota day, totally amazing, would highly recommend it. entertainmentstaff work very hard and are so funny. alsoif u want to eat outside the hotel irecommend the hongkongchineseinbodrum, they send a free taxi to pick you up at hotel and take you back when you re ready to go. Billy 1 of the waiters comes to the hotel to take bookings and he is lovely. All in all a fabholiday, i'mbooking for next year definitely

"Excellent hotel and holiday"

Stayed for one week. Food was very good - nice variety. Several large pools with 2 kiddie pools. 2 Large water-slides. Beach was nice – some pebbles once in the water, but a pair of CROCS sandals and that problem is sorted.

A bus for 2.2 Lira (about £1) runs from just outside the hotel to the middle of Bodrum - very handy. Shopping in Bodrum is amazing.

My 1yr old and 4 yr old enjoyed themselves as well at the hotel.

“A Great Family Holiday”

We stayed at Club Izer in August 2009. We had a great time. My six year old daughter loved it and the leader of the children’s club was brilliant. The food was good, the hotel spot on, the family entertainment great and the animation team brilliant. No complaints. We loved every minute. This was a fabulous family holiday. My daughter now wants to live in Turkey!!!

 “Fantastic Holiday”

I went to Izer Beach on 3/08/09 with my husband, my 15 yr old son and my best friend. The staff was welcoming on arrival and the rooms large, as we were given two family rooms. There was plenty going on but we spent most of the time sunbathing on the beach, which was cooler with the breeze from sea. The staff in restaurant was helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent but the desserts were to die for and we must have put on at least a stone after eating them every day. The entertainment team were friendly, even if you didn’t join in the activities they took the time to talk to you about. The hotel was spotless and the holiday was great. There was a local bus to take you in to Bodrum which runs every ten minutes and went on till 3am every day. We would love to go back to this hotel.

“Excellent Family Holiday”

We had this holiday booked for more than 15 months and I was really excited and needed a holiday. I was not disappointed.

We were the only family to get dropped off at the hotel, which was only 30 minutes away from Bodrum airport (which was very impressive - 20 minutes turn around from landing to transfer coach, and a very good thing was that push carts were left at the bottom of the aircraft steps when we got off, instead of the last thing on the conveyor belt, so they could be used straight away).

We arrived at 11pm, and the hotel looked amazing. The people on reception were very friendly and then took the luggage to our room. We were in a Superior room overlooking the gardens. We have an 18 month old and were put on the first floor, but as we spent very little time on the balcony it didn't prove to be an issue.

The staff was very friendly, and my son got lots of attention from them.

The food was varied, there was always something for the kids to eat, and I am quite grateful that they didn't do full English breakfasts as I would be a stone heavier- the desserts were to die for.

The bar staff were very accommodating and kept the kids in milk from morning to night for 2 weeks. There was no hassle taking drinks back to rooms, as we regularly sat on the balcony drinking while the kids were fast asleep inside.

Our room was quite big, a sofa bed for my 3 year old and a cot for my 18 month old. With this in mind there was still an abundance of room for them to run around, and the huge shower meant that we could all get in together.

We mainly sat around the children’s pool and had an excellent view of the beach and sea. The kids loved watching people go off on the banana boat or off in a parachute. I loved the fact that you could sunbathe on the jetty, dive into the sea and then swim to an anchored float to sunbathe further.

It was an excellent holiday, very relaxing with good food and hospitality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to just chill out.

"Fantastic"

This hotel is excellent. I can’t rave about it enough. It was our first trip to Turkey, my husband and daughter’s first time abroad, and what a memorable trip it was for them to remember....the staff are so friendly and helpful...they are very good with children...our 9 year old daughter wore her Liverpool top which she bought from Bodrum market and the staff joked with her about the players...the hotel is very clean and the gardens are kept well...the food is to die for...I've never eaten so much in all my life!!...the cakes that are there at lunch and dinner are delicious...we were on our honeymoon and when we arrived we had a fruit basket and bottle of wine waiting on our balcony...and petals in a heart shape on the bed….I could go on and on about how lovely Izer Beach and Hotel is, but you really have to experience it for yourselves..

We were sad to leave and will definitely return…this time for a fortnight…the entertainment team work long hours but still manage to stay cheery…The animation team leader Pasha is a lovely man and remembers your name when there must be loads of people he chats to in a week.. If you don’t want to join in, it’s fine. It’s no problem if you say no thanks - they are not pushy…

So if you are going, I hope you have a lovely time as we did and you will enjoy your stay immensely.

Perfect place to stay

Just returned yesterday from this lovely place. The staff areall very friendly and would do anything for you. When we arrived, (very early in the morning 4.30 am!) we were given our room, which unfortunately stunk due to a problem withtthe drains! We were moved immediately and the problem sorted out!! Next room was ok so we settled for that.
Lots of food variety and themed night of Turkish night.
My 9 year old daughter had the best holiday she has ever been on and made some lovely friends for the whole holiday, I hardly saw her. The pools are beautiful, although the pool by the amphitheatre very noisy with music and lots of things going on, we preferred the other pool which is directly on the beach. It was beautiful and really relaxing.
All the staff werevery welcoming and helpful. The only downside of our holiday was the big group of travellersfromRomaniawho wereintimidating and rude and seemed to have no regard for other holiday makers and infactone of their children constantly picked on my daughter and in fact hit her. The management dealt with this very quickly when it happened and they were told off and asked to apologise, so we were very impressed withtthe staff on that occassion.
Easy to get into the centre of Bodrum and loads of lovely shopping to do.Lots of restaurants and lovely views. We totally enjoyed this holiday and we are looking to book again next year.
The other thing that was a downside to the holiday was the awful flight times 3.50 am in the morning, so nexttimewe will definatelypay a bit more and get decent flights.
Overall we had a really lovely time and we are definatelygoing back next year!!!

"Everything you could want for a fantastic family holiday"

If you read some of the early reviews, 2006 - 2008 about this hotel [pre-renovation] you would perhaps not bother staying here, but you would be missing out on so much!!! Read the reviews from 2009 & you will see what a great hotel this is. These are some of the things I like about this hotel:

1. Friendly & helpful staff at all times.

2. The rooms & the rest of hotel were spotlessly clean - even the gardens were constantly being attended to.

3. Food - so much choice you cannot fail to be pleased & the kitchen staff were always on hand at mealtimes to help or assist you.

4. Waiters & bar staff worked tirelessly and always with a smile.

5. Both pools were excellent - water slides at 1 of the pools & the other pool (by the beach) had a "quaint" little island in the middle (which the kids loved playing on!).

6. Entertainment & games available all day (if that’s your thing) – it’s not mine, but there was no pressure to take part.

I travelled with my partner & my 2 children (ages 7 & 8) - we all had a great time. Pool / beach / food / drinks - makes for a great family holiday. It wasn't wild or excessively noisy - I found it peaceful & relaxing.

Overall we had a great time & are considering again for next year!!!

Go & enjoy ...

Fantastisch

Eigenlijk was onze kamer super!

“Absolutely perfect in every way”

SUMMARY

The hotel is a credit to all tour operators.

We booked the Superior room, and we thought it was more like the honeymoon suite!

Standards are kept very high, there's always a main manager walking about observing the staff. This shows how high the standards are.

Everything in the hotel we were happy with...

LOCATION

Torba is where the rich Turkish people go, so it's located in a lovely, quiet place on the beach. Besides the quaint village of Torba and entertainment with in the resort, there is little to do within walking distance at night. However the local mini busses provide a brilliant service, running every 10-15 minutes 24/7, for just 2.20TL (90p).

HOTEL - GENERAL

This deserves its 4-Star status. The reception area / lobby is very welcoming, very fresh, new, and clean. The little touches make a big difference to you.

The pool area is great and very large (2 parts to the resort - 30 second walk from each other), the club side has 2 pools with a couple of large water slides, and plenty to do and the hotel side has a more peaceful pool.)

The entertainment team and staff are friendly and get to know you on an individual basis.

All the hotel grounds are lovely.

ROOMS

The Superior room is a real superior. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard, with a very large bed, nice walk in shower, big bathroom, comfy chairs, plenty of storage, plenty of sockets, and for the women, a massive dressing table and a big mirror. It looks like you'd pay a LOT of money for the Superior rooms, but you don't.

The rooms were cleaned daily, as well as towels and bedding.

BAR / RESTAURANT

The all-inclusive package is fantastic and includes some cocktails, all snacks/restaurants, and late night soups.

The restaurant is very nice. We preferred the outside part as you had a lovely view of the sea and the mountains. Food was delicious. We never had the same meal twice, although there were the usual English comforts if you didn't want to experiment.... which we suggest you do. You can see for yourselves that the food is cooked correctly and hygienically, as they cook the meals in front of you in a separate part outside. Puddings are Turkish. There is plenty of fresh fruit also.

There are always great snacks through the day at one or another restaurant.

DO THE AL A CARTE! We did the kebab one, and the service and food was incredible. Please note, try not to have too many starters, as the main meal is too delicious to leave.

The bar staff is extremely friendly and do speak good English, so do talk to them and treat them as real people and you'll be well rewarded. If there's a guy called Murat working, he is the nicest bar man we've met. Yes, a five out of five.

“Overall lovely holiday”

We just came back, and we could have stayed another week easily. We had a great time and the children made a few good friends to keep in contact with. The club room where we stayed was by the activity pools. We were happy to make use of the late breakfast at 10am, near our room.

The room was lovely. A very nice man cleaned our room everyday, fresh towels were provided, and a stock of water was in the mini bar daily (free of charge).

The food was plentiful, with snacks throughout the day from the Italian restaurant. Staff working there are outstanding. The animation team work very hard and long hours and are a lovely bunch.

And Pasha (water volley ball expert) is very funny and very professional in his approach and interactions.

Everyone is lovely and very helpful.

If you do get a bit brave, please try the scuba diving. You don't have to be a strong swimmer, and once you get the bug, you'll want to continue. But try it at the start of the holiday, as the course is detailed and for the amount you pay – you should get the most out of it. The instructors are very good.

Overall view of the holiday was that it was great for kids and teens. There are many activities for them. It was a great family holiday, the staff is very hardworking and lovely, and accommodation on the club good, food was very nice, and I would definitely recommend and return again.

Grandioos hotel

Merhaba!

It's almost a week ago since I left Izer Beach and it's feels like almost a couple of months.
In Holland it's raining and my brown skin is turning white again.
I just wanted to thank you and say that I have had a wonderful holiday.
The staff is very kind and the service is super!

In the future I hope to come back!

"Great place to stay for first visit to Turkey"

This was our first visit to Turkey for me, my husband, and my 12 and 10 year old children, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. We booked a superior room. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious, and we had clean towels and bedding every day for 2 weeks.

This was our first time fully inclusive, which I can now highly recommend. The food selection in the main dining hall is amazing, with plenty to choose from. However, as my son is fussy, he chose to eat at the Italian restaurant on the complex which serves pizza, chips and burgers from 12-4 pm.

The pools were really clean with nice temperatures. Weather was amazing and not a cloud in the sky for 2 weeks.

The resorts water park was great fun.

The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful.

Merhabalar,

“Izer Beach –  do not hesitate - just book it!!”

On arrival, the check- in procedure was very efficient even though it quite late at night. We were shown to our room, which was a terrace room in a corner and, although the room was fine, we really were disappointed not to have been allocated an upstairs room with balcony. Went back to reception and discussed this with them and without any problem at all we were moved to an upstairs room (in the same area which we liked) with the minimum of fuss. We  booked a superior room, and this was recently decorated, extremely spacious, clean with flat screen TV, mini bar and large bathroom. The hotel complex is quite large with 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, large dining area, a-la-carte restaurant and pool bar.

There was a really good choice at all meals and a chef there to oversee things during mealtimes and make sure the trays were changed regularly. Food was hot when it should be and nicely chilled when it should be. The dining area was well kept by Mr. Adil and all his colleagues. The dining room staff and bar staff were all helpful and pleasant and, even though their hours of work appeared long, they completed their work with a smile and a pleasant word for all. Dining room meals were, we thought, better than the a-la-carte, but this was just personal choice as we loved the buffet variety.

The animation team, including Eddy and Pasha, worked hard both during the day and evening to make sure everyone was entertained, but did leave you in peace if you wanted to read your book by the pool, have a quiet drink, etc.

Rooms, gardens, pool and beach all kept very clean and tidy.

All in all, a good all round hotel with clean rooms, good food and good facilities. Would certainly go back. A 5 out of 5 experience.

A place in the sun

stayedat the ClubIzerBeachhotel in Torbait was great! All members of staffs were fantastic especially the public relations manager who is there if you have any problems and she is great to talk to too. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. The Animation team aregreat. They had live performance almost every night for adults and children. Good choices of food in the main restaurant, buffet style and also 3 other restaurants that you can choose from. Italian, Fish and Turkish restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfy. I would recommend this hotel for families, couples and groups of friends. Torbais just outside Bodrum so it is quiet and relaxing but if you want night life, Bodrum is only 10mins away by taxi. There are lovely markets to visit and beautiful sightseeing. The animation team also runa shuttle service to and from the hotel if you want to experience the night life of Bodrum and pick you up at set time to pick you up. The weather was brilliant I had such a great holiday I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Will be booking for 2010!

“Excellent all-rounder”

I agree with the most recent reviews, having just returned from a 2-week stay at the Izer - It was great.

The hotel was very compact - not far to walk to get to either side of the complex, its pools, restaurants or bars. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the pool, and everything you need and is always kept clean.

A couple of reviews – at other clubs wse haved been disturbed by late night music, but here the music always finished at least by midnight at the latest, which I thought was more than reasonable. The food was great at all meals with a vast selection. The drinks included in the deal were fine - we stuck with spirits and the beer (lager).

All of the staff are  lovely - they all work long hours, yet are always friendly with smiles. The animation team worked extremely hard too, making sure everyone felt welcome. I can understand why people might return to see them, especially if you have kids.

The hotel activities - pedaloes and canoes are available from the beach (included) and the motorized water sports were extra. Taking time to play table tennis each day was sufficient exercise for me! There's a small promenade which works round to a little harbour area, which is a beautiful way to see the bay in all its glory. However, as some others have said, the bus service picks you up straight outside the hotel and drops you in the centre of Bodrum at the bus station - so easy and very cheap (about £1 each way)!!! Bodrum Castle is definitely worth a visit - there's loads to walk around with the most amazing views possible - all for 10TL.

As a final note, the holiday we had was great for relaxation, thanks to the incredible weather, with the option of joining in with activities as much or as little as you wanted. The all-inclusive package was spot on, making it a really good valued holiday! 5 / 5

I would like to thank you and your staff for a wonderful holiday we had at your hotel, coupled with the excellent weather at Torba.  We went home refreshed with lovely memories of the Torba coastline and our stay with yourselves.

Your staff and facilities are excellent and enabled us to have a well earned break at the Izer Hotel and Beach .The buffet style restaurant is pallatable for all tastes, along with the tenative and friendly staff at meal times.  I am impressed with the make over that the hotel is having and the style and colour of the rooms, making it a very comfortable stay. I could carry on with a detailed summary, but everything was superb. Again thank you very much.

I stayed at Izer Hotel and Beach, and I should like to thank all the staff for a wonderful holiday.

I was with my friend Mrs Lewis; maybe you will remember that our first room had a problem with the air conditioning, and the reception staff were very helpful in exchanging our downstairs room for an upstairs one (No. 406).

I should also like to thank Deniz most sincerely (of the night reception) for his kindness and helpfulness in enabling us to extend the use of our room until 6pm on leaving day, due to the fact that we had an 0045 flight.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, especially the daily towel changes.  I could not fault anything with the hotel, the entertainment each evening was, as it should be, entertaining, and I am sure that the audience appreciated how much hard work Pascha, Eddie and the others had put into the different productions each evening.

The food in the hotel was always very good and plentiful, and I should definitely reccommend this hotel to any of my friends and family should they wish to holiday in Torba.

Once again, may I thank you all very much for a delightful holiday.

The hotel is fantastic. Cannot fault anything. The staff were brilliant, plenty of choice for food, & the entertainment during the day from the animation team was fantastic. Room was clean & spacious. The bar staff & all staff in general were very friendly & helpful & will do anything for you. I travelled with 2 friends, but found the hotel was suitable for all ages- families, couples, etc., as there is plenty to do. It’s also only 15 minutes away from Bodrum if you want to go out & about, & you can get the bus just outside the hotel. Wish we were still there & would definitely go back!!!!

“Great holiday…would recommend to anyone”

We had never been to Turkey before, so it was all a new experience for us. I went with my husband and 4 yr old daughter and we were looking for sun, swimming, fun and relaxation. We got it all.

It is a lovely hotel and all the staff is extremely friendly, especially with the kids. The club rooms not large, but very clean and well maintained. The swimming pools are great. There are three - two on one side of the hotel, which has two waterslides and is where the daytime entertainment takes place, and another near the beach. The one near the beach has a children’s pool attached with a children’s waterslide going into it. Both pools have bars to the side where drinks (hot, cold and alcoholic) are available all day everyday!

There is food available almost all day. It is varied and there is something to suit everyone. The entertainment is good and run by the hotel animation team. There are pool activities during the day if you like that sort of thing or it’s quieter at the other pool if you prefer. Evening entertainment is good with a kids disco, and then the evening show. .

There is a kid’s club which runs everyday, morning and afternoon, with plenty to do if your children want a change from the pools and to play with some other kids. It is run by two very nice ladies. My daughter went a few times and had a soft spot for Katya!

To summarize, it was a great holiday place, the people could not be more friendly, it’s great for relaxing, and suitable for families and couples as well. Recommend to everyone!

 “Best holiday ever”

We just arrived back from Izer Beach yesterday. We had a fantastic time. It was our first time doing all-inclusive and we weren’t disappointed. The food was great with lots of choices everyday. My son loved having the freedom to eat when he wanted and he loved the snack bar, whereas I enjoyed the main restaurant. We also ate at the Italian restaurant -beware - make sure you’re very hungry, as they give you loads. The drinks were certainly not watered down, as my head told me quite a few mornings. lol.

There are lots of different areas to visit, depending on what type of holiday you want. A very lively noisy pool, a lovely quiet and chilled pool or catch the very welcome sea breeze on the beach. Plenty of sun beds.

I can't fault the cleanliness of the whole place. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily. All toilets checked every half hour and all the public areas were always being cleaned. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the entertainment team are a great laugh. ...... my son especially loved Mr. Volllllllley Balllll aka Pasha and say hello to the lovely miss Ella for us [if you see her].

Oh yes and I definitely recommend the Turkish bath and massage at the hotel - that was absolutely wonderful .

We would definitely go back to Izer Beach and give it a 5 /5.

“What a perfect holiday”

A must to visit, the management and staff (including kitchen, bar waiters, entertainment) go out of their way to help you - very friendly. I am in a wheelchair and thought it might be a downside to holiday, but not with this hotel. It is flat and everyone is just lovely. The food is brilliant - great choices all day, the bus route is right outside the main gate every ten minutes to Bodrum. It’s right on the beach, which is lovely. If you are looking for a relaxing get away, this is the place to visit with its romantic setting, plenty of entertainment for kids and great pools. Evenings are lovely to just sit by the beach and pool with a beer, listening to some nice music and watching the sky change color. Thank you Izer for a holiday to remember. We will be back. We give you a five out of five.

“Perfect”

We just returned this morning from a very relaxing week at Club Izer and are sad to be home.

Weather was fantastic all week, a little windy sometimes but nice to take the heat off.

Food plentiful (salads, rice, chicken, meatball/mini burger, kebab, chips, pita bread pizzas), it was always hot and you can see it being cooked outside and have it fresh off the grill. The puddings included big cakes, fruit and chocolate mouse. The waiters provided drinks whilst you ate and the atmosphere is very chilled and not rushed. Breakfast included croissants, cereal, ham, eggs cooked exactly to your liking and tea

Room - was fantastic. We preferred a balcony though to a terrace. When we arrived we were given a terrace apartment. It was really big and spacious, but we requested a balcony room instead and to our delight we were moved to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea! So if you’re polite and patient with reception, your request will be acted upon. Our room was newly decorated, had a flat screen TV and smart bathroom. It was cleaned everyday.

Entertainment - there was always something going on to entertain, be it a band outside the bar, or dancing shows in the amphitheatre. If you have a younger crowd and want to go clubbing, Pasha and Eddy arrange nightly trips. They took us to Halikarnas - a large open air club which plays a variety of music and entertainment.

Torba - is a very small resort about 2/3 restaurants along the main road. The sea is beautiful and the beach was fantastic.

Staff - very friendly and always available to help.

A La Carte - there is a choice of Kebab, Fish or Italian.

Sorry about the essay, we had a great holiday, it’s great for couples and families, and anyone who has booked will have a great time.

“Best holiday yet”

There is nothing I can fault about this holiday, it was amazing!
The hotel was very clean, staff are friendly and always want to help you.
The room was lovely with air con, a plasma TV and balcony looking over the sea.
The restaurants were the best food I have ever tasted and it’s so nice to be so close to the beach and yet not too far to get into Bodrum.

“An excellent week”

We had a brilliant week in the Club Izer Beach. The food was pretty good, plentiful and had a good selection. Our room was down at the activity pool/amphitheatre end so we could take advantage of all the games the animation team put on. The room was plenty spacious enough for 2 of us and the pool was great for chilling out. The animation team this season (2009) are great. They're really lively and really funny and they really made our holiday. There are loads of activities to take part in - volleyball, water polo, pool games, etc. I think the bad reviews are from people who are perpetual moaners. We've done a fair few all-inc holidays and this was really good value and really good fun. We did loads of activities, but you also sunbathe on the private bit of beach that is attached, or out on the jetty which has fabulous views of the bay, so there is place to escape if you just want relaxation! All the other staff are really friendly too and really helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.

 “Fan dabby dozy”

If you want a family holiday, this is the place. All the staff are happy and friendly and the food is excellent. We were in rooms 306 /308. They had been refurbished. I would really like to thank ISMAIL the night manager. He was really good with the children. The bar staff could not do enough for us and there were always 4/5 to serve us. The animation team were excellent. There are two parts to this hotel. The top part has the water slides and the bottom, which is nearer the beach, has the beach pool. We will be back

 “Great holiday and great hotel”

We have been to this hotel before and have always had a good holiday. The kitchen staff have changed this year and although we enjoyed the food in previous visits, there was an improvement this year, and unless you are very picky you will always find something you really enjoy. The staff in the restaurant cannot be faulted at all and were most attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the Italian and Fish restaurants and enjoyed both. The only trouble with the Italian was the large courses which left you too full for comfort. It was always easy to get drinks both at the poolside bar or in the snack bar areas, and the waiters in the restaurant served drinks throughout mealtimes. The pool areas are kept spotlessly clean, and as there are three outdoor pools and one indoor, everyone is catered for. It is also very handy being supplied with towels for the pool and the beach saving you packing your own. Sun beds were usually easy to get and comfortable mattresses provided. Our room was small but completely adequate for two people, and as with the rest of this hotel the standard of cleanliness was very high. Towels were changed every day and bedding changed every other day. Will definitely be back to this hotel and can recommend it to others.

 “FANTASTIC HOTEL!!!!!”

On arrival we checked in, were shown to our room, and a gentleman took our luggage for us. The hotel room was great. It was clean and looked like it was newly decorated with double bed, flat screen TV on the wall, a sofa, and lots of space if you wanted to hang your cloths up. Could not have asked for a better room. Air conditioning was in our room and was quite powerful - so no fear of being too hot at night. Our view from our balcony was lovely with lots of trees and plants, and at night the whole place lit up. It was gorgeous!

This was our first time in Turkey and we had mixed feelings on it and what to expect but we will 100% be going back next year!!

The food in the hotel was lovely with so much to choose from. If you are a fussy eater this is the place to eat as everyday there was a total mixture of stuff to eat and also a great selection of deserts. You will never get hungry at Club Izer, as they serve breakfast 7.30-10.30, late breakfast 11-12, lunch 12.30-2.30, dinner 7.30-9.30 and midnight soup! Also there was a snack bar open 12.00-5.00 with chips, pizza, burgers, wedges, etc., and ice cream between 4.00-5.00. The staff are so friendly and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Entertainment is going on every night and also lots of activities during the day for adults and children. The views are lovely, especially at night when the whole place is lit up and you are drinking cocktails looking over at the sea!!

Overall I thought this hotel was amazing. We had such a great time there. The only downfall is that we only stayed for 1 week and not 2. We will definitely be going back to club Izer next year and no doubt many more years after that.

Have no worries about this hotel. You will have a great time.

“Surprise Package in Turkey”

I was filled with trepidation during the ride down the dusty road to the hotel, but my doubts were soon erased upon arrival. The reception and the two Superior rooms were very clean and tidy. The hotel is situated in a perfect location directly on the coast of the Aegean Sea.

Food in the all-inclusive restaurant was quite varied and the service of the waiters was probably the best I have come across anywhere in the world? The quality of entertainment in the amphitheatre was varied, but on the whole very good, considering that a large part is supplied by the hotel’s animation team. A variety of water sports are available directly from the beachfront, but these must be paid for outside of the all-inclusive basis.

Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel and resort.

Merhaba

We had a nice vacation between 27 of May to 6 June. (this year) We have enjoyed it. You have nice and friendly staff, we are coming back in September.

May 27 - June 6, 2009

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

We have just returned from 2 weeks at your hotel and would like to let you know what a GREAT time we all had. The animation team are especially great, taking care of everyone and trying to get people involved but also letting you relax if you did not want to.
They were brilliant with my little boy Jay, who did not attend the mini club but went to the mini disco every evening. Also I would like to thank you for organizing the flowers, champagne and cake for my Mums birthday, she had a great time.

Kind Regards

We are in Bruxelles, with the wind, the rain and the temperature is not good (max 16 degré). So thank for your hospitality, and thank  your whole team, we cannot wait to come next year with all the family.

My friend mersi, we have completed a good holiday. I am sure that my daughter, her boyfriend and their little girl Alia have also had a good holiday in your hotel. Take care.

My husband, daughter and I have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Izer Hotel and Beach Club in May. Your staff is fantastic and made everyone feel welcome and relaxed. The food was excellent, as were the many facilities available. We would just like to thank everyone involved in making our holiday the best holiday we have ever had. Thank you again.

"If you haven't already been, go now!"

This was my favorite holiday by far. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and would do anything for you. E.g. topping up a drink before you have even finished. The beach is beautiful and the two pools are fun and lively all day. If you want to relax, this is a perfect destination, and if children want to play, it is very safe for them to do so with the entertainment team. The all-inclusive restaurants and bars have loads to choose from...

I would definitely, definitely, definitely recommend. A 5 out of 5 experience.

“Izer Beach is the perfect holiday place to stay”

This was our first holiday in Turkey and it was fabulous. Please do not be put off by some of the reviews on here [pre-renovation]. The staff, the rooms, and the food cannot be faulted. The location is perfect. The minibus stops right outside the complex and takes you into Bodrum - such a cheap and easy way of travelling. We got off at Bodrum and hopped onto another minibus and went to Turgutreis - very pretty and a great market. We had such fun haggling. We went on a day trip from Bodrum to Kos on the ferry for about £25 each - a lovely day out.

We enjoyed Hotel and Beach Club in May.so much we have already decided to go back next year. Very good value for the money. Have a happy holiday.

“Loved it, great for the kids, great to relax, great to have fun!!”

We read the reviews on trip advisor before I booked the hotel so I was unsure how the holiday was going to go. BUT, it was the best!!

Driving down into the resort you are still not sure if the hotel will be nice but it is!!!

Our room was lovely and clean, fresh, plasma TV, air con, great shower, lots of storage, all you really need, drinks in fridge.

The pools were great and my 6 year old loved them, I though that she would want to go in kids club but she had some much fun round the pool with other families and with the entertainment team that kids club wasn't even thought about.

Evening entertainment was really good especially when you get to know the team and they really worked so hard to make sure everyone had fun.

The whole place just felt warm and friendly and we all cried when we left as we had the best holiday ever!!

The place was a good 4* al inc type place, but what made it really special was the ents team, the waiters and the boys on the beach with the water sports, the tours guide who took us into town, basically the people.

To summarize, HOT, amazing country with clear blue sea, lovely hotel, close to airport, but the staff are just something else!!

We will be back, loved it!!!

“Fabulous hotel-Friendly staff - Wish we were still there!!”

We have just returned from the most perfect week’s holiday we could have imagined.

The transfer from the airport only takes 25/30 mins, and on arrival a porter will take your bags to your room. Our room was in the courtyard near reception overlooking beautiful gardens full of flowers. The room was like new, the bathroom had clearly been re-tiled, bedroom painted, and the air conditioning was a godsend.

The food was great (we have two girls aged 4 + 6) who can be fussy eaters. Basically you can eat from 7.30am until 10pm throughout the day so you can always find something you will like.

There are 2 pool areas. At the top end of the hotel is a rectangular pool and a free form pool that has 2 water slides. This area is where the animation team (entertainment team) try to get you involved in activities throughout the day - from water-polo, volleyball, etc. There is no pressure from the team, but they do work really hard, so it’s fun to join in when you're in the mood.

The other pool near the beach is where you can chill out in relative peace. There is also a pool here for children and it has a little slide in it.

We did some water sports on the beach with Dennis and got good deals on a speed boat trip, parasailing and jet-ski.

You can get drinks from the bar from 10am until late, and during the day you also have a self-serve soft drinks machine and tea and coffee machines.

The children have a mini disco at 8.45pm then at 9.30pm the evening entertainment starts.

The animation team were brilliant all week, taking great pride in their work and working so hard to look after us. Special mention to Musty, Eddy, Pasha (top dancer) and the lovely Miss Ella. They work from 9.30am until 1am every day and are so dedicated. They are a credit to the Izer Beach Hotel.

So don’t have a second thought if you want to go here "in season". You can do as much or as little as you like and you will have a fabulous holiday.

We are going back next year – that’s how great it is in Izer Hotel and Beach Club.

“Brilliant!”

I have been abroad so many times now and Izer Hotel and Beach Club has to be my favorite hotel. The people make the holiday. All the bar staff, waiters and animation team are just so nice and friendly. I am a really fussy eater and I found something to eat every night easily. There is a bbq outside and salad, bread, desserts and lots of hot food every night. There are 2 breakfast times - one early one which finishes about 10 am and one that starts at 10 am and finishes at 12am.

There are 2 big pools - one near the animation team which is quite loud and lively and another one over looking the beach which is quieter - that is where we tended to stay. There is 1 child's pool on the lively bit of the hotel and one with a slide on the quieter side. There are 2 slides in the big pool on the lively side. There is a pool bar on both pools, but you can only get food from one of them. The other just serves drinks.

There is a shop on site, hairdressers and Turkish baths, nightly entertainment which was really good (normally I find them boring but it was good). The water sports on the beach are brilliant! You can do parasailing, fly fish, Formula 3, Voyager, kayaking, pedal boats, and lots more. There is a deck in the sea that you can sunbathe on and also a raft that you can swim out to. There are computers and games in the game zone and you can also get tattoos either on the beach or in the game zone. There is an on-site photographer who will definitely take lots of snaps of you, and you can buy them that night or the next morning. In the lobby there is a TV room which has a huge plasma tv, but it’s normally just showing cartoons to keep the little kids entertained.

I can’t say a bad word about the place. 100 % best holiday so far ! :)
